These fun team challenges take place on the slopes of
the Club and a challenging course is setup on the lawns

*Obstacle climbing challengeA day of activities is designed
to company budget. All activities are located 1 hour from
Cape Town in a magnificent setting with bar facilities.
Alternative Team Excursions Include:
Nature Discovery’s famous ATV quad bike and 4x4
trail. This is an easy circuit route with spectacular
mountain scenery. We visit some historical sites and unusual
geological formations, passing through rare Fynbos plant
areas. The route traverses through pine forests, crossing
small rivers and along the shores of lakes heading towards
the picnic lunch spot. The waterfall offers a peaceful
backdrop and if you feel like a refreshing swim you can
go into the rock pools. You will be accompanied by an
environmental educational guide.
The quad bikes vary in size to suit beginners and the
more experienced. They include 150cc machines, fully automatic,
300cc machines, fully automatic, 400cc 4x4 machines, capable
of taking passengers. 4 user-friendly motorcycles are
also available for motorcyclists. We also have 500cc 4x4
Super Quad rangers that can seat up to 4 passengers comfortably.
These can be used should some of the members of your team
not wish to ride a quad bike. We can accommodate up to
8 people on the Super Quad rangers in comfort and safety.
Option 1: Day out
Enjoy an ATV quad bike, 4x4 nature trail with Nature Discovery.
Accompanied by environmental educational guides your day
out will take you into the scenic nature reserve.
09h00–14h30: picnic lunch by a waterfall, guides,
fuel, permits, coffee & refreshments, with interesting
educational talks on route and team photographs.
Normal day out price (R925) discounted to R750 per delegate,
all inclusive, for 8 or more participants.
Option 2: Morning Conference & Afternoon Quad
Biking 4x4 Trail
- Morning conference, tea/coffee & lunch at the Elgin
Country Club (cash bar available)
- 3 hour quad biking and 4x4 trail into the mountains.
Normal price R920 pp, discounted to R720 per delegate,
all inclusive for 8 or more participants.

Heights Adventure Trail

This trail sets off through forest, crossing
a couple of rivers and climbs steadily up
to the Gantouw or Eland Pass, the original
wagon route of the Dutch and British settlers,
over the Mountains of Africa, so called in
the old days.

anyone. A short trip in our 4 x 4 open canopied
vehicles takes you in comfort & safety
to Landroskop along Boland trail in the Hottentots
Holland Nature Reserve. Overnight
gear is dropped off at an old fashioned mountain
hut before the hike.
